Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Rick and Kasie, Petaluma hog farmers and owners of Napaluma Farms. Together, we are focused on raising pasture-based heritage pork in Petaluma, CA.
We pride ourselves on raising high quality pork and believe in the importance of knowing what your food eats and where your food comes from. In addition to raising hogs, we are also busy raising our next generation of hog farmers, Leila, Anna Capri, and Remi. We are passionately teaching them what life on the farm is all about, where real food comes from, and what true, traditionally nourishing food looks and tastes like.It is important to us to teach and pass these practices along to our children and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so on our family’s farm.
We are proud of the pork that we raise and make it a mission to supply our community and local food chain with delicious, high-quality pork. From our pasture to your plate, we look forward to serving you!
Our Namesake
Our name Napaluma Farms is a tribute to our love story, our upbringings, and our converging roots in both wine and agriculture throughout Napa and Sonoma counties. Desiring to grow both our family and our family’s existing hog business, we hung our hats in wine and began farming hogs with Kasie’s dad, Pete. From Napa to Petaluma, selling wine to selling swine – Napaluma Farms was born!

Our pigs are fed a variety of high quality, organic feeds and are raised on pasture without any harmful chemicals or antibiotics for your, and your family’s, wellness.
Pasture Raised
Our heritage breed hogs are allowed the pastures to root and roam and express their true “pigness.” In turn, this produces some of the highest quality pork with great textures and marbling throughout each cut.
